The mine site required stored mine affected water within the Heyford Pit to be transported to other locations on site to enable coal production from this pit. This project comprised of 4 LV pumping stations at various locations across the site to facilitate the creation of a water transfer network. BRS was responsible for electrical and control system design from initial feasibility through to PLC programming, HMI touchscreen, execution and commissioning management. The project highlighted BRS’ ability to manage stakeholder requirements and, in spite of shifting scope requirements, managed to deliver the project on time and to budget.
