BRS Electrical were engaged by SinoStruct, to work in conjunction with Santos, to complete a detailed electrical design on-skid Motor Control Centre (MCC) and Remote Telemetry Unit (RTU) panels for Santos’s GLNG Lean Skid 2.0 and 2 Pipe Skid.
BRS were also appointed to provide inspecting and commissioning support during the manufacturing process.
The detailed electrical design involved creating updated electrical schematics, a complete redesign of the MCC/RTU enclosure. A complete Bill of Materials take off list.
The Lean Skid 2.0 and 2 Pipe Skid detailed electrical design that BRS produced became the typical drawing set for dozens of Santos’s GLNG Upstream Skids.
The detailed electrical design was fully compliant with Santos stringent specification and relevant Australian electrical standards.
The design incorporated Custom Enclosure components from Rittal, electrical components from Schneider Electric and VSD & harmonic filters from Unico.
