What started as a need to ‘As-Built’ the current CHPP IO drawings, to enable SIGMA to implement a process control system upgrade has expanded into a full blown drawing management system for the site.
BRS initially setup and managed the system for a number of years before handing it over to the site document controller to carry on the good work.
The system has been operating since January 2009, and was developed in close consultation with the requirements of the site electrical staff. It is currently being utilised not only to capture changes to electrical installations on site but also as a key tool in improving the accuracy of all existing drawing records, with the final goal being a completed set of ‘As-Built’ drawings.
