A combined research project for QUT and Griffith University. BRS was engaged to support Griffith researchers in bringing to the Mackay facility a Metener engineered biogas upgrading unit.
BRS was engaged as the hazardous area consultant to perform the classification of the zones associated with the plant, as well as assisting with the design and documentation for the HA dossier.
Many challenges existed in bringing overseas plant into QLD local regulatory environment and BRS was able to support the plant erecting and commissioning through out the process.
