BRS was employed as a Sub-Contractor to Pensar
Water to complete the detailed electrical design for
the new Sewerage Treatment Facility at Shoalwater
Bay to service the new ASMTI facilities.
BRS was responsible for the complete electrical
engineering package including the electrical drawing
and document packages, lightning risk assessment,
control systems design, and commissioning of the STP.
The control systems design utilised a Siemens S7
1500, ET200SP remote IO and a Comfort panel HMI
unit. These works also included the PLC and HMI
software development.
BRS were also responsible for integrating the local STP
control system with the overall site BMS system, as
well as a third-party vendor for the irrigation system.
