BRS Electrical were engaged by Pensar to carry out electrical design and engineering for the new raw water pump station (RWPS) which feeds the Moura Water Treatment Plant (WTP), on behalf of the Banana Shire Council.
The existing RWPS arrangement of 3 submersible pumps mounted on a floating pontoon secured to a jetty, which was determined to be at risk of damage during flood events. The new pump station was designed to mitigate the risk of damage and potential loss of supply to the WTP.
