With previous success at a number of BMA sites BRS was engaged by Blackwater Mine EEM to complete an audit of the current drawing system accuracy and compliance.

As a result of the audit and GAP analysis work has now commenced to analyse the field electrical drawing and get the drawing library up to date and compliant with the coal mining act.

BRS Responsiblities

On site direction of point to point take offs of existing installation
Production of ‘As-Built’ drawings for these areas
Complete the architecture and implementation of the drawing management system.
Training and technical manuals for electrical staff and administrative staff.
Drafting services for creation of CAD versions of all drawings.
Providing work packs for as-built drawing investigations (point to point checks).
Overall responsibility for bringing the accuracy of drawing records up to an acceptable level.
