BRS Electrical were engaged by BMA Goonyella Riverside Mine to carry out an electrical audit of their Low Voltage switchboards.

It was identified that a number of these boards need to be replaced. The switchboards covered in this package of works are of key importance as equipment failure could affect various areas of the industrial area of operations.

Following on from the audit, BRS Electrical completed a detailed engineering design for the 15 highest priority boards to IFC detail, including all required engineering designs, drawings and documentation.

The switchboards ranged from Single Panel Distribution boards up to Main MSB with a 2000A main bus with dual supplies.

BRS Electrical acted as the clients engineering consultant throughout the execution works including FAT and SAT oversight, ongoing technical support for all stages of procurements, installation and commissioning, as well as input to the completion of the as-constructed document packages and handover to site.
